Brownies, more brownies, and fruitcake – oh my!

It’s a little late in the day for National Chocolate Day. But really, shouldn’t every day be National Chocolate Day?

If you have a hankering for something chocolate, at least one of these recipes will be just what your taste buds crave:

Zucchini Cake Brownies – moist, delicious, dark chocolate cake brownies.

Chocolate Hazelnut Fruitcake – chocolate chips + candied orange peel + hazelnut liqueur = decadent and unique.

Chocolate Merlot Brownie Bites – like a brownie sundae without the ice cream.

Black Forest Merlot Brownies – use the recipe from above and turn it into a Black Forest Extravaganza.

Low-Fat Brownie Loaves – See the photo above. We’ll be making these at my Gifts from the Kitchen class next week. Can’t make the class? You’ll find other, equally welcome recipes in my Holiday Gifts from the Kitchen book! Get your copy in print or pdf. Soon you’ll be the most popular gift-giver in the family.
